Coat-of-Arms:

The open book symbolizes knowledge and education.  The clasped hands are symbolic of fellowship and the winged foot symbolizes athletics.  The knight's head at the top stands for honor, courage and service.  On the pages of the open book is the school's motto, "Dirigo" - "I lead."

Coral Gables Senior High's Alma Mater was written by the school's first principal, Mr. Harry Rath.
