Vocabulary Words
1.Racism- a). Discrimination or prejudice based on racism b). The notion that one’s own ethic stock is superior.

2.Slavery State- a). Any of the 15 states of the Union in which slavery was legal before the Civil War, including Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia

9.slave driver- a). A severely exacting employer or supervisor  b). A person who traffics in slaves.

10. Negro- a member of the Negroid ethic division of the human species, esp. One of various peoples of central and South Africa. 

11. Negroid- Of, pertaining to, or designating a major ethnic division of the human species whose members is characterized by brown to black pigmentation and often by tightly cured hair.
